Excellence Riviera OR Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas?

riu is not audults only- dunno if that matters. And they say the waters in Cabo are unswimmable- again, dunno if that matters. But it has pretty good reviews on tripadvisor.

Excellence is supposed to be a great place. FH and I had seriously considered booking here. Also has great reviews on tripadvisor. It is adult only.

Cabo is awesome - I've been 3 times.
I'd actually recommend not going the All Inclusive route though - I'm just not a fan. You get stuck eating the hotel food and it's usually not that good. If you are big alcoholic drinkers then it is usally a good deal for the booze alone.
Cabo has a great town/nightlife and there are SO many great places to eat out at. I'd hate to go to Cabo and not get to experience all the town has to offer.
I'd recommend them checking out either the Westin, Sheraton or Hilton hotels...I've stayed at all 3 and all are amazing and great in their own way. Westin is very modern...Sheraton and Hilton make you feel more like you're in Mexico. Food at all are great - see if they can just get breakfast included at one of those hotels so they can eat out at dinner!

This is for their honeymoon I'm assuming???
There's also another hotel called Marquis that is really nice - may be a little pricier though.

Cabo is great though - one of my favorite places on earth!

I would think that Excellence caters more to honeymooners. It may be a little more expensive, but it sounds so worth it. You get 24 hour room service, 8 restaurants, 10 bars, 6 pools, etc...And like Gina said, it's adults only. No kids running around We already booked our flights and are in the process of selecting a room category

We had our HM at Excellence in Riviera Maya back when it was still run by the Secrets Resorts.

We did not want to leave at all!!! It was amazing!!!
