Excited and Overwhelmed at the same time

Hi all. My boyfriend ( well fiance now :) ) and I just recently got engaged.

And while all excited, we were soon told he might be getting deployed sometime in July on 2013. He is in the air force.

So we started looking into venues, but I'm so overwhelmed by calling and visiting and decisions.

Can anyone please help with some quotes they have received from any LI venues or northern NJ?

We want to keep it smallish at an absolute max of 125.
Anytime between April and June (we are very flexible with our dates).
Our ideal time would be a Friday or Sunday night since we are really trying to keep the cost low.

I am having a small wedding too. I was looking for RH that would gurantee atleast 100 and it was a little challenging. Not sure what you want to spend but you can look into Crest Hollow, Westbury Manor. Their prices were less than a $100pp before tax and tip for a Friday and Sunday. That was for October/November of 2013. You can also try Sunday afternoon and it would be cheaper. You can look into Leonard's too. They have many menus to pick from depending on the $$ you want to spend. Also keep in mind that you can neg. with a RH on the price if your planning on April/June wedding as its less than a year away and the chances of them booking a wedding is less likely now. I live in Northern New Jersey and we visited about 5 places in NJ. We looked at Mayfair Farms, The Manor, THe Old Tappan Manor, The Pearl River Hilton, Nannina in the Park, The Venetian. I have also been to events at the Colonial Inn and Seasons. I'll be going to an event at the Fiesta next month. FM if you have questions. :)

Try Fox Hollow. I want 120 guests the most. They have a smaller room and our min is 120 for a Sat. They will work with you. I can't give you a price quote because I got a family discount but my BM has been great and I know the food is awesome (my uncle is the chef =) ) I do know that when we were given our quotes the Friday and Sunday were $10 less but we were set on a Saturday. my fiance is in the air force too, he's deploying in february for at least 6 months. im freaking out, but that's why we set our date so far so i know he'll be home in plenty of time to help me with everything. if you need anything when he deploys let me know!

Try the Westmount Country Club in West Patterson NJ. I'm not even from NJ and I'm going there because I always heard great things and they were reasonable! It's 15 mins from GW Bridge! I love it!!
