Excited, but nervous freak. Need to hear from other recent and soon-to-be brides

Hi ladies,
As I close in on the one-month mark, I swear I'm becoming such an anxious freak! I am VERY excited about marrying fh, so what is the problem here? My sleep totally ***** and I'm always thinking of stuff I have to do. AGain, very excited for wedding... Even when I don't *think* I'm nervous, my stomach will let me know otherwise. What a joy. My fh thinks it's a little funny, but knows better than to joke too much about me being nervous...

Can anyone relate!?!?!?! (please say yes... ) and what are you doing to keep sane!?!?!

My stomache has actually started twitching! I dont get a lot of sleep lately and I have 25 days. I am in the same boat as you, I dont feel nervous but I think on the inside I am. I am only nervous I think, because there is so much to do and I feel like I am not going to get it done in time...and there is just so much going on, that I dont feel like we have any time to relax. And on top of the wedding, there are always other personal things to deal with as well...I cant win! But I totally understand. I usually try to veg out for a little while at night, just watch tv and relax..not that I am relaxed or anything! I talkto Mike and he and I can complain about stuff together, so that makes it better I guess.

It hasn't started yet, but I know it will! I was a mess the week before my shower. I am really sick this week with a sinus infection, so I guess I'm run down. Better this month than next!

I havent gotten the sick feeling yet, but within the last two weeks I've become a bridezilla. The littlest of things upset me. I just hope I dont get any worse

I totally know how you feel. I felt the same way for most of the month before the wedding. (I lost about 15 lbs because of it!) The last few days were the worst but on the morning of the wedding I woke up feeling great! I was not nervous at all! I guess I got it all out of my system earlier in the month!!

Try to relax and not stress too much. Keep in mind that something will probably go wrong the day of the wedding. When it does just let it go, have fun, and roll with the punches. The more fun people see you having, the more fun your guests will have!

I don't sleep well. Everyone tells me I look tired. I have had a tension headache for 3 days straight!

Thank you so much for relating! However, I'm so sorry that some of you are dealing with this too! I was very psyched by Summer05's response that despite earlier nervousness, she felt great the morning of the wedding. Good stuff!!!

I seriously need to get my body to cooperate and just freaking relax, already....

I think some sleep would seriously help!

to all of you!

If it makes you feel better the day of my wedding I was a nervous wreck. I was fine until the day of the rehearsal dinner. After that I was a mess. I was so nervous before the ceremony that my dad thought I was going to pass out. It all works out perfectly in the end. The best advice I can give you is to try to relax. The day goes by so quickly so you should try enjoy it.

I thought I was losing my mind at times around one month before. Little problems with the planning or anything else outside of work made me burst into tears. I wanted all of the planning to be over so badly! Want to hear the crazier part? When it was over, I missed it, and still do a little!

Don't worry, you'll be okay. The day of the wedding, I felt pretty calm. A little jittery right before I walked down the aisle, but in general cool as a cucumber.

I slept poorly the few weeks before the wedding. After the Rehearsal dinner (thursday night) and picking up my dress (friday) I was much more calm and relaxed. By that time, everything was pretty much done and all I was really worried about was my hair, the day of (Sunday).

By Friday night, we were picking up OOTers, having dinner with them and having fun before the wedding. Don't worry, it will all work out and if small things come up, you will probably be the only one who notices them!

I'm sleeping ok, but that's probably b/c I'm exhausted from long hours at work. I've had many wedding nightmares for months although not as many recently. The thing I'm most worried about is my stomach. My stomach has been in knots many times recently. I'm very nervous about the big day and about all that I have left to do. I worry about forgetting important things and about having things go wrong. My stomach is always terrible on important days and when I get nervous. I'm definitely worried about feeling sick from nerves and stress and I'm sure I won't sleep the night before. I just hope I can calm down and enjoy the day. Any advice on how to calm the nerves?
