Fh and I were approved for our apartment. We sign the lease next week, and although our lease begins June 1, since it's a Tuesday after a holiday weekend, they're giving us the keys the Friday before (May 28).
I'm super excited, and super nervous at the same time. Neither fh nor I went away to school, or ever lived on our own before-so this will be the first time ever. Part of me really, really wanted to move in after the wedding, but I get anxiety easily, so I know this is for the best. We'll probably spend about 2 weeks painting/cleaning/setting everything up, so we'll only officially move in less than a month before the wedding.

we are doing the exact same thing. We just got our first apt. May 1st and are working on painting and carpeting it now. We hope to be all moved in within 2 weeks, its so exciting!
