Exercise Advice

I had my weekly Jenny Craig meeting tonight -- and they also did my montly measurements. I am dropping inches like crazy on my hips and thighs. I should be thrilled, but I really never cared much about my lower half and thought it was fine. I am very top heavy and most want to lose the fat on my arms and chest. Anyway, I am losing the least inches on my boobs. Are there any exercises that I can do to speed this along? I swear I am going to get a breast reduction if they dont shrink! LOL

I really wished I had exercises to share with you, but in my breasts is where I lost the weight immediately without even needing to, I needed to lose everywhere else

Congrats on your losing!!!!!

I'm so jealous! I mean, I have always been sort of big chested, but they are out of control right now. I would be so much happier a size A

Unfortunately you can spot lose weight.......I would do cardio and then upper body exercises to tone.

I do a lot of upper body strength workouts. Only b/c i have little boobs and i want to have cleavage. But you can do back arm extentsions, Where you put a 90 degree on your arm and stretch it back... and than you do this move (I forgot the name) but this will help with your chest for sure:

Stance: Slight Bend in back. Weights in hand, Slight bend in elbow, with arms out at side. Drawing your shoulder blades together, push your chest out, than bring weights together. do 3 or 4 sets of 12-16. You will look like your flapping your arms and doing the funky chicken.

These websites are good for workouts too. I print them and bring them to the gym with me:

Muscle and Fitness Her
Bodybuilding for Women (I use the workouts that the pro's use. trust me they work! Shape.com

HTH
Goodluck!!

I think you mean you 'can't' spot lose weight.....and if so, I agree. Unfortunately the weight is going to come off and go on wherever it wants to. When I lost my weight, it all came off the top first and then FINALLY off the bottom which is where my problem areas are. But when I put weight on, it goes right to the bottom first. And yes, I lost a cup size too, went from a 36D to a 34C.

But I can tell you that if you keep up the work, eventually it'll come off everywhere. It has to because it can only come off so much in certain places.

maybe you can do chest flies too to help with that area, but congrats on your accomplishment!!!
