Do any of you own an exercise bike? I'm thinking about buying a relatively inexpensive one, but I'm not sure what to get. I'm not particular about upright versus recumbent, but I really don't know anything else about 'em. Any suggestions as to good brands/models?

Hi there,
I have a Schwinn which I bought a few years ago. It's pretty good, only you have to watch the elastic band around the wheel because when th eroom is hot, it expands, which makes it much harder to pedal. But, it's a great thing if you do it at least 3 days a week. Mine is an upright.

Thanks Jess! I was actually looking at a Schwinn at Costco. Maybe I'll go for it! (It's never warm in my apartment anyway, so I probably wouldn't have to worry about the minor problem you described!)
