Exercising

before we were engaged i used to go to the gym hardcore and we also have a treadmill so i did cardio like 5 times a week....then when we got engaged i really started working out because i wanted to look good for our eparty.....then after the eparty was over i started slacking, then came the holidays, and i just stopped with the gym, stopped with the treadmill, started eating less healthy.....im still the same weight and im really small - but i feel like i lost all the tone i had - and i want to plump up my backside i figure its almost march - warm weather is in like 2-3 months, and i need to be sexy for the wedding so yesterday i decided that i would at least start running again - so i got my *** on the treadmill and i ran 2 miles last night - TODAY I AM IN AGONY - i am sooooo sore i guess its really been that long since i've exercised

i am at work and i am in exruciating pain - and im walking like an idiot because all the muscles in my legs hurt now i remember why i stopped exercising hahahahahahahaha!

Re: Exercising

i worked out a few days straight this week and weekend and i was so sore. I do ab workouts, a little bit of cardio and then did ALOT of arm strength and back workouts and i was so sore for like 2 days...for the fact that i havent worked out as much in a few months, i did push myself a bit too much. I already see results so it was worth it

Re: Exercising

I started getting back into it a month ago since I got my friend to join my gym. We've been trying out a bunch of classes. Since they are all different, I am sore after everyone of them! We did spin on Saturday and Sunday I was dying! But I like the pain To me i know somethings happening then. I've been getting better though. I wake up at 6:30 to walk on the treadmill and after work I run 3 miles on it. And then Saturday through Thursday I do classes at night. I already feel like its working so I feel much better about myself. Hang in there the pain is good!!

Re: Exercising

i need the motivation girls.....seriously i really really need it....when i wanted to lose weight it was easier because i had a goal - now i just want to tone up and since im not really depressed about my body the way i used to be its so much harder to push myself to exercise - in my mind, im like its ok, you dont need to lose weight, just tone up, so you have plenty of time....but i shouldnt just be exercising for the wedding anyway, i should be exercising to stay and shape and because its good for you....ugh im just so lazy, i want to go home and relax after work and i hate getting up super early to go to the gym in the morning i think once i get back into the swing of things i'll be okay - i used to exercise all the time, i dont know what happened - i became a lazy a$$ - now i just want to go on LIW all day

Re: Exercising

I know what you mean. If I even sit on my bed when I get home from work, I wont want to get out of bed, just take a nap or get my laptop and come on LIW.

So what I do, is I come home change and go downstairs on the treadmill before I even get near the bed.

Re: Exercising

I wish I could get myself to the gym, let alone be sore from it. I keep setting my alarm for 5am and I hope one of these days I'll actually stop hitting the snooze button and go. It's only down the block!

honestly, if 5am is a problem then stop trying for that and do it later on in the day...maybe after work or something. I know i would NEVER wake up at 5am to workout, in the morning i barely give myself enough time to get ready. FInd what will work best with your schedule.

the only way i do it is by having a trainer. i go 3 mornings a week at 6:45am... and i'm so not a morning person. knowing i have to meet someone there is what gets me out of bed.

Re: Exercising

It's natural for you to be in pain if it's been a while since you excerised as hard as you did last night. Take some motrin/advil that should help you and work out again tonight. You should feel better by day 3 of working out.

Re: Exercising

ack! Give yourself a break, you'll get back in shape in no time. You'll be buffed and toned before you know it!

I crash dieted for my e-pics and then slacked off on the holidays, my BMs have been great with motivating me and being my gym buddies!
