Exotic Island Wedding

Is there anybody here who would chuck all of the wedding plans and go to an island or even Vegas?

I just want to be married without the 'wedding'

yes. but the romantic in me still wants that day with all the hoopla. plus, we talked about a destination wedding and my mom doesn't fly, and i couldn't get married without her, so those plans were scrapped.

This is the exact same thing we went through.

We have discussed it many times. I would love to but I am afraid that I would look back and be disappointed that I did not have a more traditional wedding and that many of my family and friends would not be there to celebrate with me. I also think many of my family members would be upset and feel hurt.

My 2 bestfriends are sisters and one got married in Vegas @ a catering hall and the other just got married in the Bahamas 2 weeks ago.

Both weddings were BEAUTIFUL and they did not go into debt to have them.

I think if thats what you want to do....go for it!!!

The Bahamas was a beautiful backdrop for her pics.
