I have a lot of family from out of state, and they have been shipping their gifts to my mom's house. The first gift , which was from Macys, came with a gift card and had the gift givers name on the packing information. The second gift was from Bed Bath and Beyond and had no gift giver info. So my mom asks me about it, in case any of FH's family gave it. I told her I had no idea who sent it. She calls her sister, who she believes got it for me, and my aunt replies 'Just wrap it and bring it to the shower.' So my mom tells me this, and I'm like, she told you to just wrap it and bring it with no card. And she's like, yes that's what she said. So now great, I get to expect a mystery gift.

Have you opened the actual gift yet? Is it possible that she bought it and put the card inside of the box?

Maybe she's going to bring a card with her and put it on the gift.
Maybe I'm dense but I'm not really seeing an issue here? She'll be there when you open it, right, so she can be like that's from me?

Maybe I wasn't clear when I typed the post....FH was about to snoop on me and he hates registry talk lol.
My mom opened the shipping box. She said it weighed a ton and wanted to know what was so heavy. And she was even more mad when she saw it wasn't wrapped.....cus now she has to wrap this huge thing.
As for the gift giver, they won't be at the shower....none of my out of town family is coming as they live in Texas.
I'm just thinking its going to be a bit odd at my shower....mystery gift with no card or tag. I guess my aunts know I'm stalking my registry and they don't trust my mom not to tell me who the gift is from.

Oooh, then that is kinda dumb, cause what if your mom didn't realize? I didn't get that none of them were coming to the shower, so yeah, that's kinda weird.
