I just heard on the radio that some politician wants there to be a 7 year expiration on wedding licenses!! So after 7 years you can decide to renew or just be single again... that is nuts!!! Must be a man!!

i think having another wedding and shower every year would take the specialness out of it. no one will make a big deal about getting married because youre going to do it 5 or 6 times in your lifetime.
having to renew your license every 7 years is silly.
'lets get married, but only for 7 years, the im allowed to move on to the next one'

Reminds me of an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm when Larry David tells his wife he only married her 'til death do they part.' He was like, what's this eternity? I never signed up for that. So now FH and I always joke around about that.
