extensions: clip ins vs sew ins
I was going to get the sew ins but my hairdresser suggested the clip ins and they workly beautifully on the day of. I'm so thankful I didnt get the sew ins and ruin my hair.

I used clip in extensions on the day of my wedding and you honestly couldn't tell the difference (pics in album). My stylist bobby-pinned the s*it out of them (lol) so they stayed put all night. I still use them on occasion for updos!

Agreed! I also used clip on extensions and definitely stayed in place all night! Definitely recommend! I used remy hair, expensive but great quality!

I've had both, and I have to say as long as a professional is doing the clip ins, there is no reason to sew them in just for the Wedding. The sewn in ones ruined my hair and make your scalp a mess! You can get loose extensions and have a professional custom sew them onto clips to match your need. hth!

I think the clips in look more natural. And, they will DEF stay in! I use them all the time :)

I'm a hairdresser and I say go with clip ins!! Unnoticeable, less expensive, less damaging, less painful. There are ways to make them stay!

Where have you ladies purchased your clips ins? What brands?

I don't buy the premade clip ins because theyre expensive. You can buy the lose tracks for hair and have a hairdresser sew them onto clips for you, or even sew them on yourself. It's not hard at all just slow work because you have to hand sew them.
Doing it this way you can buy $40 hair (from a beauty supply store), spend $10 on clips, and then it would only be $50 for a ton of clip ins. I'm not sure how much a hairdresser would cost to do the sewing because my sister is my hairdresser! lol But if you get the person who is doing your wedding hair they will make them exactly the way you need them for your hair and style.

I did clip in for our epics and they were great. There was one photo where you could see the clip, but only because I was looking for it, and I think it was because my hair dresser that day did not do a very good job. I agree that the hairdresser is really important here.
