Extra expenses

If you ladies don't mind ...
Would you share how much your budget was and how much you went over when all was said and done. I am trying to plan for extra expenses.

the word budget went out the window when we first met with all our vendors.

I think the biggest expense we didn't take into consideration would be the cost of tips.

It sounds ridiculous.. but when added up all the recommended tips - we ended up spending approx $1500 just in tips.

Just something to consider - sorry I couldn't be more help.

Yea, I'm figuring we are going to need the same amount in tips .. crazy ...

I'm also having a huge budget problem when it comes to guest list! We were trying to minimize our guest list, as our contracts were all based on 120 guests, but our guest list ended up GROWING! We have to invite 180 - there's no way we will have less than 140 guests now - which upped our expenses by $2000+

Budget at this point I don't even know the word. since we picked the date that was only a year away I started with not wanting to do more than 20k for honeymoon, rings, dress etc. even at Brentwood which we didn't do the package but even with the package it doesn't include cake or centerpiece and everything is basic it was 17k with taxes for a Saturday night. I left their package once vendors came into the picture plus 2 week honeymoon, BP gifts, shoes, doj, permit for pics, etc I have just about tripled my budget.

My its are around 1500 as well maybe more depending on whether the owners work my day or not because 2 photographer 2 doc 1 DJ 1 mc urgh 2 of everything
