i'm thinking of booking my photographer-QBC, but i want them to take more proofs than the 350 max. how much extra do u think 300 proofs would be? like what would be a reasonable price for extra proofs?

Do they (only) give you 350 Max or is that they take a lot of pictures (1K+) and give you the best 350?

I've never heard of a photographer giving a max for proofs - it's usually a minimum. Are you sure that's right??

That sounds like what Wedding World does too, I think it's like another $25 for each extra roll of film they take.
And make sure they bring extra rolls with them to your wedding, otherwise they have to ration pics so as not to run out before the end of the night.

just to give you a comparison, my photographer is taking unlimited photos, but said it comes out to be around 800-1000 pictures...

I don't know...I had 1200 proofs and I'm so happy that I did. The photographers really captured the whole day. This is just my opinion, since I am currently scanning all my proofs, so I am so aware of every single one of them. 350 seems very little.

do you get all of your proofs from Sherwood?? or do they keep them? and make you pay additional $ for them? I booked Sherwood myself!

That number seems low to me as well... my photog. doesn't have a 'min' or 'max' she said usually its somewhere in the vicinity of 800

i called them and they said the only way around that is to have 2 photographers and that would give me about another 350 proofs, so i'll have a total of about 600-700 proofs. that would be another $600 for the day. what do u guys think of that??

I got unlimited pix taken (digital and film) and over 1200 proofs from my photographer for $1500 - I believe she's around $2K now....

Yup, I received all of them.
ETA: I had two photographers, so that is why I had so many proofs

I've never heard of a max on proofs. I'd look elsewhere. There are many pthogs out there that girls could recommend. Start a post with the title like 'Help: Looking for great photog for 2K' Hope this helps!!!
