eyebrow threading

hey ladies,
i'm trying to find a place to have my eyebrows threaded in Suffolk County. I'm pretty sure there's an Indian place in Selden on Middle Country Road, but I can't figure out the name or address. Does anyone know of this place, or another place that does threading?
TIA!

I think this is where my sister goes. I will call her and find out for you. I know she does threading in Selden on MCR.

they take a string (like dental floss) and twist it around the hairs and pull them out. Very high ouch factor but so much more precise than waxing, and no burns

I go to La Femina in Hicksville. I know that she has a location in Selden, I'm not 100% sure where...

Threading definitely hurts at first but after a while if you do it consistently then it doesnt really hurt much anymore...i've been doing it for years and now it barely hurts and there's no irritation at all afterwards (when i first used to do it the area used to stay red for like 20 mins)

i go to a place called Mehak which is near 260th street on Hillside Avenue in floral park area. Ask for Namisha, the owner, or there's a short woman who looks Filipina but she's really Indian (not sure of her name) but she's very good also.

Other places to try:

Rani's is really good: there's a location on hillside right near new hyde park road in new hyde park. There's also a location right across the street from the source mall (haven't been to that one but i'm sure its the same) EVeryone i've tried there has been good.

Trendz is a place on 106/107 in Hicksville right next to the Chevrolet dealership. There is a man who does it there who you should ask for.

Aaina is another place on 106/107. I don't highly reccommend them but they are OK. If you do go, ask for the owner.

There's a ton of places on 106/107 in Hicksville and a lot on Hillside Avenue in the Floral Park/New Hyde Park area.

**Some advice** Ask the other ppl who are waiting who is good before you let someone thread your eyebrows. Sometimes they'll have someone new who might not be as good and mess up your brows. Always use someone you've heard good things about and always talk to the person doing your brows and tell them exactly what you want and how you want it (reshape, thinner, thicker, higher arch, etc) and they'll do it for you. Check after they're done in the mirro to make sure they didn't miss anything and if they did tell them and they'll fix it for you.

ok, that was rreally long! HTH!
