For threading, I recommend Aaina on Route 107 in Hicksville. Go on any day except Sunday or Monday and ask for Shamsha, she is the owner and I think the best one there. I always go to her.

Jess is right - she's wonderful!!! I went to her based on her recommendation & i'll never get waxed again!

I think with treading the more you go the less it hurts....You can go as often as you need...same as you'd do for waxing...

ETA: I'm a Cuban hairy beast - it's poss that if you're less hair you woudl go less frequently.

Threading hurts like a biotch!!!!! But when I lived in Bellmore, I'd go to Hickville to get it done there. It's totally worth it!!!!

i got them done almost a month ago and i'm starting to notice that i'll need a touch up soon...i'm sure going back again won't hurt as badly...but the first time - there was an awful lot of hair to go bye bye...
