Best places for eyebrows? I tried threading and am not a fan of it because imo it hurts lol. I do know that they give better results then waxing but still. lol
Thoughts? i also heard of amazing places in the city and i am willing to spend more $ for them but i dont remember any names.

I get mine threaded and have been for about 5 years now. For the past 3 years i think, i have been going to a place in Levittown and they do a great job

There is a place that does threading in the city really cheap and they do a decent job.
I think it is around 39th and 6th avenue. It is a small dive of a place but it is the best price in the city. I think it is around $6.
The ones I normally go to are on the island.

i used to get them threaded for years but lately i havent been liking it. i think its because everytime i went a different person did them so they kept changing the shape, even though i said just clean them up. i switched back to waxing and i LOVE the way this woman is doing them.. i told her she changed my life. lol its a nail salon in smithtown.

I get my eyebrows professionally done twice a year (waxed or threaded) and than do the touch up on my own. I spent about $15 this weekend at a place to have them reshaped and arched.

i get mine threaded in downtown northport. there is a new salon (i think its called cameo) and the lady there is awesome! they also do waxing. she's a lot of fun to talk to and she's great at what she does.

sorry i dont have any fancy tips. i just go to the nail salon and tell them 'not too much'. ive been doing that since forever..and ive only had one lady mess it up (uneven), that i had to use a pencil for a couple of weeks.

thought this was a great question.

well there is a guy who is known as the best and as the eyebrow guru. He was just in CA but opened a place in manhattan. YOu have to book way in advance bc he books up months ahead of time and he is very pricey. His name is Damone Roberts. But you can also use one of the brow diva's at his salon that he trained for less
ANother one is Eliza, she was known as the best in NYC, so i would say her and Damone are the best now in nyc. My moms friend worked with her and she did focus in the beginning just on eyebrows and then all of a sudden got real big and now does basically just eyebrows. She is pricey too so not sure what youre looking for.
Her site is helpful to read though bc she talks about common errors ppl make with eyebrows an what to do
i have thick eyebrows so i have to get them waxed every 2-3 weeks. I prefer the waxing for myself

I get mine waxed at my local nail salon- Angel Tips in East Meadow. They do a great job and its only $4 during the week and $5 on weekends. i did the threading once and hated it (hurt wayyyy too much!)
