I am getting a makeup and hair trial done on the 24th.. what are peoples opinions on getting eyelashes.. Never wore fake eyelashes. Im trying to go for a natural look, and not sure if the eyelashes will make it look unnatural. Also, i dont know how comfy it will be.
So waht is everyone planning on doing or have done?

I had them done, I think it really depends on personal preference, they looked natural on and I actually liked the way they came out

i want them. i like the way they look, and i don't know what other opportunity besides halloween i would have to justify wearing fake eyelashes. outside of the wedding, it's just not me.
for you, if you like them, a wedding is a great excuse to treat yourself

Definitely get them, it is amazing how much they affect the over all look of the make-up. Even my mom loved them when we went for our trials.

I had them. Loved them. They made my eyes pop so much more than piling on the mascara. What I would suggest you do though, is have your make up person first do up your eyes without them. Take a picture like that. THEN have them put the fake lashes on and wear them for the rest of the day. See how you like them. You presumably already know what its like to have just mascara, but def wear the lashes all day and night long so you can see how they wear and feel.

DEFINITELY get them!! Ask your m/u artist for the indivdual ones though - from what I've experienced they tend to look more natural than the strip. They are amazing!

If you want a more natural look, you can probably get individual lashes instead of a strip

I did a makeup trial with them and without them. I prefered to the trial without them, although people raved about how the fake lashes looked. The pics looked nice too, but I really prefer to be more natural and I know FH would prefer that too.
ETA: I didn't vote b/c it is really depends on what you prefer. Do a trial with them and then a trial without them.

i'm glad that you posted this... i was wondering the same thing! i wore them for halloween one year, and looved the way they looked! haha they were way over the top and crazy, but i still loved them! i've never had the individual ones done... does anyone have prices?

if they are done right then they wont look too fake or overdone. individual ones help with this. have ur makeup artist try it & if you dont like it then you can opt for no lashes but i think you should def give them a chance!

i actually wear fake eyelashes all the time, there are definitely ways of making them look natural...and if they put them on right you shouldnt even feel them!

Do it! It won't feel like anything you shouldn't even know they are on . Eyelashes come in all different sizes. You don't have to go long if your looking for a more natural look. I def advise to use the individuals so it doesn't look like your dressing up for Halloween.

hey there - makeup arist here eyelashes can be absolutely BEAUTIFUL! i always use them for events on my girls as well as on myself...and they can look totally natural when done the right way. Just make sure ur artist uses individual lashes as opposed to a full strip....full strip lashes can DEFINETLY look un-natural and very 'showy'...they're more just for fun. But i love individuals when i'm dressed up! They really bring out the eyes...especially in photos...here's a pic from my wedding day - i had them - they look natural as can be i say go for it - it's a trial, u might as well try them & see if u like 'em
