Eyelashes

My FH and I had a decision about eyelashes. I had just did my trial with Mia last week and when he saw me, he said he did not like them. Now, I love them. So later on today the conversation come up and again he mention that he did not like them. I was like oh well you are going to get over it. He feel that it is not natural.

I feel that it is my special day and I want to do something special.

Does anybody have that same problem?

I think its normal for guys to always like the 'natural' look and us girls always want to be extra girlie and have fun with it. I personally think you should wear them, besides the fact that I absolutely LOVE them lolz, it'll makey our eyes pop a lot more in pics..a lot of times you can't see your natural lashes in pics ...

they may look weird up close but in photos your eyes will really pop...so you can use that as your excuse ;) hell him your photog told you to wear them hahah

For me it was my Dad. He was like W T F are those on your face

I think it was just the initial shock and it will be ok on the big day because the last thing FH will be 'seeing' will be the eyelashes

Yeh, FH is into more of a natural look too, but liked the 'dressy' look that I went for. I didn't have a whole strip of lashes put on, just individual ones to enhance what I have. Did they put on whole lashes, or pieces for you?

i like the eyelashes on you! my fh said the same thing he made a comment before I went for the trial that the lashes will be so unnatural looking good thing for him I am not using the artist and will be doing my own make-up so no eyelashes for me.. your fh probably is not use to the look probably

fh then passed a comment about my extensions- sorry no compromise there I love them

my fh liked it better when they put single ones on the end better than doing a whol lash across

same here did not even see them- only when I said something- I liked the single lashes better then the one piece eyelashes- felt more real- jmo

Thanks girls!!!! I just needed to vent. They feel natural. I love them so much I was trying not wash them off until after my shower. That did not work, LOL . I would even do them after the wedding.

Yes!!!! FH hated them. I loved them.

I'm not getting them.... I figured, why argue over fake eyelashes?

I agree, why fight over lashes. It is just that, if this is what you want he should accept it.

I say go for it. The day of, he probably wont even notice and it will look really nice on the pic. When you get to the hotel that night just remove them and you will be ok. They look weird when you are dressed normal but when its part of the whole package it is not as noticeable.
