I'm sorry Ali, that sukcs a lot for both of you. At least it's not something really serious.
Take a couple of days to process all of this - when we found out recently FH is getting laid off from his school due to budget cuts I went through a huge panic of 'how will we survive' and after that passed I was able to figure out a plan and it turns out no matter happens we do have options... that I couldn't see in that freak-out moment which is probably where you are now. Hang in there and you guys will be okay, you will figure out a way. Feel free to FM if you need moral support.
