F you Cancer!

I need to vent and not many people in my life can understand what i am feeling right now. My father is the apple of my eye, he is not perfect and i may not agree wtih things he says or does but he is and has always been my hero.

I spoke w my father today and he told me his cancer has returned. I know I am almost 32 years old but i have always had this fear of not having my father beside me on my wedding day.

I am a mess, my eyes are swollen and i have to pick my daughter up in 20 minutes from the bus stop. I am so scared he will give up this time, the last time this happened he was on hospice for 4 months, and yes he survived but he had a hell of a go at at, for most of the time he didnt remember who we were or where he was.

I hate cancer, it has literally turned me into a insecure 8 yr old i want to stomp my feet and throw a tantrum, and to think of my poor daughter finding out again...

I believe in God, or a higher power, and i know everything happens for a reason, and i believe there is strength in numbers, so please if you can all just say a prayer for my daddy tonight, i would be eternally thankful. they are priceless.

On no! I think every daughter, who has ever been closer to her father and had a loving relationship, would be upset to have any reason to fear her father wouldn't be by her side on the big day.

Thank you ladies, so much for your support. The past 24 hrs have been a rollar coaster and when i stay busy i am good to go, its the down time that stinks.
