im looking for a sheer organza with a design..my grandma said she would sew the edges onto my overlays..
no way in he double hockey sticks am i paying 40 a table to rent them (sorry to anyone who is)

Hmmmm Joanne's fabrics has a decent selection... there is also a place in East Northport/Commack on Jericho Tpke but I can't think of the name of it...

I don't know if you'd troop it to the city or if you work there, but the garment district has a HUGE selection. You can walk door to door and look for what you need.

i think i found a place on long island to look at, but if they dont have what i want im willing to go to the city..where's the garment district? im hopeless

It's a pretty large area, but I've gone with a friend of mine to look for fabrics around 39th/40th between 7th/8th and 9th Aves. It's not far from Penn and there are lots.
