facebook?

ladies, besides through parents, phone calls, is facebook a normal way to get peoples addresses? lol... For example, my mom dosent know everyones address, and rather than have her phone every person, would it look bad if I emailed their daughters, sons, who are friends with me on facebook for their address? or is that a no no?

I think the no no would be to email or facebook them an invitation. But I see nothing wrong with emailing to get people's addresses. I emailed all the people at my job and some family. People move so often it is hard to keep track

i didnt even think there could be a bad way to get someone's address. its not like your sending them a facebook invite to your wedding lol

I asked people on facebook for their addresses. It's easy. I did that and text messages and my mom is going to email me some addresses. I think it's fine.

I definitely did it...still doing it! So many of friends and family don't talk on the phone, they'd rather facebook. I've gotten nearly half of my missing addresses on there...

I've done it, no matter how many times I asked my mom for addresses and name spellings she would never get it. So, I just started emailing people to get their parents/family's information.
