Facial Nightmare

Facial Nightmare

I went for a facial on Tuesday afternoon. This was not my first facial and I have never had a problem except for Now!

Yesterday my skin was very dry, so I used the 'recommended' creams that I foolishly purchased last night. Well... Good Morning and Hello Elephant Man! My face this morning is huge! The entire right side of my face is red and puffy, the other side is too but not as bad. My right eye is so puffy it is half shut.

My wedding is in 3 weeks I am having a stroke! Have a doc appointment with the dermatologist at 11:30. God help me!

Beware of the pre-wedding facial!!!

OMG, I am so sorry. But I really think 3 weeks is enough for your face to get back to normal. Good luck at the doctor's appt

Re: Facial Nightmare

that sucks - i know what you are going thru
i once got a facial in vegas and the girl was too aggresive
she wound up going too deep and i looked like i had the measles all over my face
i had to wait for everything to heal - it's a terrible feeling

Re: Facial Nightmare

I am having a similar problem, I'm having a reaction to new make up I tried. I think your face will calm down on its own, try not to worry. My eyelids are a bit swollen. By the way, we are basically on the same time line, I feel your pain. Yesterday my eyes were bloodshot too, now at least that is getting better.

I could just imagine what you're going through Trust me I would be freaking out also. But I honestly think you will be back to normal by your wedding day. Keep us updated on what your doc says

Re: Facial Nightmare

Hi Girls,

Well I went to the dermatologist and she gave me an ointment with cortizone. It took three days for the swelling to go away, now I have a red blotch on my cheek but it is going away. I was so affraid to put make-up on Sat night for my B-party but it worked out fine.

A few more days of no make-up and I should be fine. THANK GOD I did the facial 3 weeks before. !!!
