Facial question....

Facial question....

Okay ladies...for all you have have done facials...

I just got a facial done and Fox and Company Salon. It included the following:

1.deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions and mask
2. Anti-Aging and Hydrating Collagen Facial
(Have to say it was the most relaxing things I have done in months. I was there for an hour and a half.)

My wedding is in a month, should I go back in two weeks to get a more intense facial they recommended. They recommended the following:

1.Microdermabrassion with Special Ampule and Mask (Peeling Includes Facial)

or should I just get a regular facial.

Opinions, or advice is appreciated!

TIA!!!

I have no idea b/c I don't do facials, but I just wanted to say Fox & Company is MY salon

I've been going there for years and that's where I'm getting my hair and makeup done for the wedding

I might stay away from the microdermabrasion so close to your wedding. If you never have had it done before, you don't know how your skin will react and you could be red/ruddy for awhile until it goes away - not what you want to deal with right before!!!!

Re: Facial question....

Fox and Company is GREAT. We got our hair done there for my friends wedding and they did a GREAT job. I'm from Floral Park so it was close and easy.

Also, for the facials I've been going since January (I was going before but I couldn't afford it). They have me come every 2-3 months and now that it's 4 months before the wedding, I'm going next month, July, and August and that's it. Don't go too close to the wedding because your face could break out after the facial and you might not clear up in time.

I know!!! You know I was looking for a place near my house to go to that wasn't too expensive and their name came up and I said to myself that sounds soooo familiar and then I remembered that you listed them on your timeline for the day!!

I have to say I needed that relaxation time sooo badly. They were great.

Re: Facial question....

My friend is an aesthetician and she doesn't recommend doing micro so close the wedding. If you want teh same effects you can do a glycolic peel. I would just do a facial. Both glycolic peel and micro can make your skin very red and sensitive.
I recommend micro but not two weeks before your wedding. I get very red after and stay red for a few days.
