Facial recommendation??

Hi Girls,

I have never gotten a facial before and am thinking about going. I am a little scared though because I have really sensiitve skin. Does anyone know of a good place that won't totally kill my skin?? TIA!

Any facial is going to cause some minor irritation on your skin at first. Just make sure you tell your girl that your skin is sensitive, and do not ever get one done a day before an event. Give your skin at least 5 days to recover from it....

I again recomment Nadine at Allure Skin Care in Deer Park. #631-586-2745. She's a licensed aesthetician (sp?) and I think she's great. I have NO affiliation to her whatsoever. JMHO.

Anytime!!! I really, really trust Nadine. It's weird but I'll tell you why.... I used to go to her for bikini waxes at a Salon where she worked. It was when I first started getting waxes, like 7 years ago... Anyway, she was the first one to use tweezers to get out ingrowns!!!! I was like, 'no?!?!?!?!' TMI I know!

She is so patient and meticulous and very into caring for skin. So I followed her when she left the salon and opened her own skin care place. She's really, really good at what she does. Facials and waxing. She books up really fast though, you have to wait like a month and a half to get an appt with her. But worth it! Good luck!!!!
