Facials?

Facials?

I have been wanting to get a facial for a long time but I am scared! I have very very very sensitive skin that can rash or break out easily. What kind of facial should I get? Has anyone had any bad experiences?

different spas offer different options...don't worry about having sensitive skin, these people know what they are doing...just make sure to go somewhere well established, where the staff knows what they are doing, like, Bliss, Cactus, Laser Cosmetica...

I have skin like that, even if dust touches my face I get a huge welt like a bee sting- I had my first one 2 weeks before the wedding- yes daring- but where I got my makeup done is a Skin Care Salon- they know exaclty what they are doing- Elizabeth Drucker Skin Care Salon in Hewlett- it hurt a bit BUT my skin was flawless and NO pimples/breakouts/blemishes- NADA! Im going for my second next week

I go to Bliss and have the triple oxygenating facial. My skin glows afterwards.

I go to Christopher Bascone in Huntington Village. I have very sensitive skin and he has only improved my skin. I have never had a problem.

I highly recommend Mario Badescu if you can make it into the city. Even the most sensitive of skins can use his products.

i had one and i broke out like crazy - never again.
plus it was painful and i had red on my face for hours after.

just my experience but i feel like they do nothing for me or my skin
if anything they feel like surgery!

I usually break out afterwards and then for a few days after..its supposedly because it brings everything to the surface

I've gone to Maximus, and had a good experience. Going to Bliss at the end of the summer.
