FahrenHYPE 9-11 - the other side -please see this new movie

OK- so I saw Fahrenheit 9-11 and it while it was an 'entertaining' movie - it made me question things. So, I have heard lots of bad things about Michael Moore and how he spins the truth and that led me to discover a much less publicized movie called FahrenHYPE 9-11. Due to less money to market this movie - ( a shame) it may be harder to find in your local video store. I found my copy and saw it on monday. By the way they had 20 copies of the Michael Moore at Hollywood Video but only 1 copy of this movie.

Anyway, FahrenHYPE disproves all of the lies and deception that Michael Moore tries to make you believe in his movie and exposes HIS LIES. It breaks down almost every scene in MM and gives an explanation and things are debunked ...
There are people in this movie that were in MM's like the soldier who lost his arms who was very upset that his footage was used w/o his consent, the state trooper in Oregon who was taken out of context and mad, the vice principal at the school where Bush was not reading to the children but being read to. In the beginning scene of MM's movie he makes it look like Bush is casually reading to the children when in fact that was not the case at all and the VP of the school supports that.

D I C K Morris, Clintons Adviser is in the movie alot and points out that it was Clinton that didnt do anything for 8 yrs on terror and that this was bound to happen not because Bush was in office but because it has been steadily brewing for 20 yrs. (Islamic extremism) and that under Clinton they had found Bin Laden in 1998 and decided to let him go.... so much stuff that discredits almost every point Moore makes in his movie....

Another point in the movie - MM tries to tell you that Bush has ties to Saudi Arabia by showing pics of him meeting with Saudis - well in this movie, it shows that EVERY President dating to FDR meets with Saudi leaders and that the pipeline in Afghanistan is a big lie.

Another scene shows Bush commenting on the haves, and have nots, and that they are his base - MM leads you to believe that Bush is talking to his constituents and you perceive this speech as a campaign fundraiser. Guess what? Again, this footage is taken out of context. It was really a fundraiser for Catholic charities of NY in which Al Gore was also in attendance and Bush was poking fun at himself (Gore was later making jokes abuot himself later on.) In that speech, Bush later says, 'So I was on the elevator tonight coming down here and someone says to me Ya know you look alot like Geroge Bush, and I said yeh people tell me that all the time, so the guy goes that must make you really mad!!'

I encourage people to see this movie just as people have been encouraged to see Moore's film and decide for yourself what is the truth...

wow- thanks for that, I had no idea about this movie until I read your post! I feel like so many people tend to just accept MM's spin on things bc his whole image is about exposing supposed lies and bringing info to us regular Joes. While I enjoyed Farenheit 9/11, I'm curious to see the other movie to see how everything is explained from the other side. I like to be informed, but not in a biased way :) Thanks again for sharing this!!
