Fairfield Apartments...or others

Fairfield Apartments...or others

Sorry for the barrage of Q's re: apts., bf & I are just starting to look for March/April. We looked and kinda like Somerset Village in Babylon, but I want to find out if there are any hidden apts, I haven't heard about or such.

We are leaning more towards a 'community' like Fairfield or Somerset Village over a private house (although we aren't shut off to a private house).

Any comments on Fairfield? We definitely want a terrace/patio & to be able to BBQ.

Any comments/suggestions would be helpful.

We're looking in the range of $1000-1300. or so....max 1500.

Thanks

the avalon apts in smithtown are beautiful, but they might be our of your price range. you can check out harbour club in babylon, i think it's on the water but they have apts that might be in that range. we were looking to move there, but we found an apt in e.northport that we couldn't pass up.

Fairfield apartments from what I remember tend to be kind of expensive. My Mom lived in an apartment complex in Hauppauge called Stratemore I think. It is across the street from the Fairfield and next to the Windsor. I don't know if you are interested in that area or not.

My best friend lives in the Fairfield apt. In Deer Park! I think she pays 1200. As far as I know they like it! They have a huge 1 bedroom. All of the rooms are nice and big! There is also a dishwasher ( a luxury I learned quickly that I miss! ) I think it is a very nice place!

Thanks ladies....we're leaning towards Somerset, although they start at 1500 for a 1 bedroom (same range as Fairfield) but we like how spread out they are, how large the rooms are, the terraces, etc.

We'll see, another issue just came up...may take another apt. that is 'in the family'
