Fake boobies...

Fake boobies...

I am having my dress custom made - the woman who is making it says that she can put those fake boobs (aka: chicken cutlets) into the dress; sow them right into the dress - sounded great at first (I'm verrrrrrry small on top) but then I thought 'isn't that going to weigh down dress?' She says no, it's more natural looking than padding...
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE W/ THIS? PLEASE HELP!
Thanks

Actually, that sounds like a great idea! Maybe I can see if my seamstress can do that for me!

Where do you buy these cutlets?? I bought a pair from Victorias secret, and they were horrible and expensive!!!
I'm laughing at 'I bought a pair', as if they were shoes.

Well, she is supplying them - although, expensive, she said they are the 'best'...I could find out the brand name.

No it won't - although i dont have experience with wedding dresses - I am a dance teacher and always have my students parents swe those into their teenagers costumes for support & padding bc some materials can be see-through. So dont be worried about them weighing down the dress, I can promise you it wont happen.

Re: Fake boobies...

Are you talking about the ones that look exactly like real/silicon breasts? I have seen those at dress stores, yeah those would look great in the dress to push up and make your dress look fuller. Just make sure they stay in place, lol

My FSIL did it and you couldn't even tell, it looked great, she's also REALLY small on top.

We did this when I was a BM two years ago. They're great at giving support and do not weigh down the dress at all.

I'm having this done to my dress. I had my last fitting last weekend & you don't feel them in the dress at all but you definitely see the awesome outcome!! I LOVE them!!!

I say go for it...I'm actually considering a boob job b4 the wedding, not only to fill out my wedding dress, but when I go on my honeymoon I would like to be able to were a swimsuit w/o looking like an 8 yr. old.

i think that is a great idea, you would normally wear them in your bra but if they are sewn into the dress you will feel them less and they shouldn't weigh the dress down at all!

I know a girl who did that. it turned out great. it doesn't weigh down the dress or anything. my moh keeps talking about doing that for my wedding. anyway it's much better than padding.

Sounds like a good idea. I think I'll need a whole chicken to fill my dress!!!

I would trust your seamstress, it sounds like it will work. They aren't too heavy.
