Fake E-Ring for HM Poll

If your rings are insured do you really need to worry about getting a fake ring for the HM?

I feel that if I have the insurance that I shouldn't have to worry so much...you?

There was no way I was bringing my rings on our HM! i bought a plain white gold band and thats what I wore, now I use it when I go to the beach, workout or just hanging around the house!

What about the room safe? So, when you go to the beach/pool lock it in the safe?

I've heard horror stories about that too! Most in room thefts are from within so they are also able to get in the safe! to me it just wasn't worth it!! Even if its insured, nothing could replace the sentimental value!

hey piggy-back-poster - i voted yes, why take a risk and go through the hassle of filing a claim should the unfortunate happen when u can simply get a fake one for under $10 bucks!?

Im getting a fake one....mine is a family heirloom that is IRREPLACABLE. I would seriously be so upset if anything happened to it.

I wore my rings and kept them in the safe the whole day when we were at the beach....

In my eyes insurance or not it's not worth it. Not only do you have to worry about losing it in the water, but you are not in the USA. I don't know in my opinion it's not worth risking it. As much as it will feel strange not wearing it, I'm not chancing it. If anything I'll get a plain band and thats what I will wear.

insured or not..the setimental value can never be replaced..so i would be devasted if i lost them..I think i may be getting a fake set

the only time i take it off is when i'm doing my nursing clinicals otherwise i always have it on so i'm going to take them with me... it was never even a thought not to wear my ring ...
