Due to my line of work, I need short nails. I will be able to grow them for 2.5 weeks prior to the wedding though.
I would have to remove the tips 1 week after the wedding. Not worse it!

I wore tips, and they broke immediately after the wedding because of my work too - plus, I'm too athletic to have long nails!!!

I have acrylic nails painted on and painted to be a french manicure. I'm getting them redone the day before the wedding.

I wear tips now. I am probably going to do a silk wrap for my wedding because my nails are finally growing! if I leave them natural they will just break. They are too weak.

I had the permananet french gels put on about a month before the wedding. They looked really nice, but too much maintenance for me! I took them off the day we came home from our HM!

I went natural - my nails weren't long but I am not into fake nails. They make your natural nails unhealthy.

I have tips, my nails are really weak. I have had them on for almost a year and will keep them on for the wedding.

Natural nails for me. I had tips and it too my nails forever to get strong. They are finally back to normal and long

i usually go natural but for the wedding i got tips cause i wanted french and i wanted the manicure to last thru our HM. if i went natural, the paint would've been all chipped up by the time we landed in aruba! they looked great in pics and i took them off as soon as we got back home.

I will probably just silk wrap my real nails a few days before. They grow pretty long on their own, so doing this will just be precautionary, in case one breaks before the big day

Personally, not a fake nails kinda girl, just went natural with a sheer pink color.

Natural! Like others have said, tips ruin your real nails and make them very weak. My nails are pretty long and I tend to cut them down when I feel like they're too long to be functional.

If you can get into NYC, I highly recommend Dashing Diva. They have this great thing called Virtual Nails. It's basically like a press on nail, but they glue it to your real nail. When you're ready to remove them, they soak off and the nail underneath is good as new!
Not to mention the fact that they look amazing. They are so natural looking, I love them!

I have a gel manicure .. every week I go an get a layer of gel put over my actual nails. it allows me to get a little length to them and they stay strong and don't break
