Fake Nails..Question

Fake Nails..Question

I have silk wraps and want to take them off. One broke so low today and my nail is killing. Is it best to go to a salon and get them taken off or should I soak them at home myself and then go there for a manicure?

I would go and have them taken off so you don't ruin your nails underneath.

I think when I decide to get rid of my wraps, I will go have them taken off by the salon. However, there have been times I've been so lazy and won't go for a while, the wraps would lift and the things just pop off! To play it safe and to be delicate on your nails (they will be sensitive) I'd go and have them do it.

you can buy stuff to soak your nails in,,,it's basically asetone. I found that most comfortable, becuase sometimes they can over force the nail off you, even when soaking. JMO

I had tips put on for my wedding and just soaked them off myself...I bought one of those jars filled with acetone remover...you can buy them in drugstores.

It was a little annoying because it took so damn long to soak them all off!!!!!!!!!!!

I just made an appointment at my nail salon. One of the nails broke this morning while I was doing laundry and it hurts so bad. It is almost down to the bottom of the nail bed, so rather then go through that pain with another nail, I am going to get them taken off today!
