I know this was once a controversal subject but I am getting one for my HM the pools are all concrete and we are snorkling.. we had spoken to another couple who went to the same place and they said that their rings were all torn up and scratched when they got home and alot of people were losing their rings in the ocean and a few were taken from the hotel safe....So i decided to buy a set for my HM ..anyway for those who have bought them online where did you buy and how was the quality?

Re: Fake wedding sets
I was the one who mentioned QVC. Whats good is that you can get a set that are CZ's set in gold, so it really looks real b/c only the stones are fake. They're only like $100 and change, and its good to have if you vacation, go into the city a lot, etc.

Re: Fake wedding sets
When DH and I went on our HM we locked them up in the safe in our room - I told him I didn't want to wear it on any excursions or such and he agreed.. the only time we wore our rings was when we went to dinner or something.
I can't see myself buying a replica ring just for show- the rings that were blessed by the rabbi means so much to me and DH that we would rather wear nothing at all if we doing water sports, etc.
Maybe hide them in your suitcase when you're not wearing them if the safe isn't safe enough for them? If not then check out QVC if you're interested in buying a set just to wear and don't care if it gets lost, etc.
