what do you still have to do?? i booked everything so long ago that i find myself being sooo lazy now and time if FLYING by!!!!
I have to make a decision on the BM's dresses (going w/ my MOH sunday so at least we have a plan lol)
pic out invitations
get hair/make up trials
get a tiara/every other accessory
get favors
decide on our wedding bands and order them
etc. etc. etc.


oh yeah, and win the lotto

please tell me I am not alone!

I don't really think you're far behind.

Here's what I have to do (I live out of state, so when I fly home for the weekend I usually get a bunch of things off the list at once).

I need to pick a florist- flowers, bok's, etc.
Tiara or hairclips-I haven't been able to find anything I like.
Suck it up and decide between the two invites I like.
Find a person to do makeup.
Book the rehersal dinner
Decide on favors.
Order our bands, but I won't do that until mid summer since I don't want to leave them lying around our apartment.

I seem to have a hard time narrowing down my choices. For most of this stuff I have it down to two or three, but just need to suck it up and decide.


ETA: Of course I have all the last minute stuff to do, like votive placecards, OOT bags, etc.

Purchased wedding rings today, so I can now scratch that off the list. Still need to:

address invites
make a hair decision
book florist
buy shoes
lose 20 pounds

Oh and I forgot.........
still haven't decided on favors!!!

AHHHHH

Umm, I'm way behind but I'm trying not to believe 'the hype' that this all takes so much time.

Thus far, I've only
1/ ordered my dress
2/ booked a band
3/ talked with a photographer (who we'll book but haven't yet)
4/ talked with a limo company (who we'll book but haven't yet)
5/ picked out BM dresses but haven't ordered yet

SO, that means I have to:
1/ Find & book a florist
2/ Find & order invites
3/ Research HM & book
4/ Order a veil
5/ find shoes
6/ favors
7/attendant gifts
8/ wedding bands

And probably a few other things I haven't thought of.

That should make you feel better - I'm the slacker bride!!!

Trust me your not alone... Everything listed above I still have to do.. plus limos

We are starting precana next week.
Working on picking/ordering invites.
Bought the stuff for favors, need to put it together.
Book the rehearsal dinner.
Buy bridal party gifts.
Pick out tuxedos.
Get my shoes and undergarments.

Those are really the only big things left. We are doing well!!

We are getting married on 9/30/05 and I still have to do the following:

Address Invites(had them custom made & they are due to arrive on 5/27)

alright guys you are making me feel better!! you know its bad when your MOH is like 'um we have to get our dresses' hahahaha. At least I am not a Bridezilla you guys have also reminded me of some other things i havent even listed

I feel the same way. I thought I was so far ahead but all the details seem to be overwhelming.

Don't panic - I'm getting married the day after you and I still have to do everything you listed plus a ton of other things.

The problem is that now that it's getting nice out I just want to go to the beach -I have no motivation to do any wedding stuff!

I agree..i've lost my motivation too..kind of hoping it will take care of itself! I guess that's a good thing, we're not stressed!!

i have to block the hotel rooms and get FI his wedding band and the tuxes, other then that we're done

I already:

booked hall

DJ

BM dresses
my gown
STD
picked out invite
picked out favors
picked out restaurant for RD
picked out our wedding bands
booked honeymoon
made appt for my 3 fittings
booked my day of coordinator
blocked hotel rooms and transportation for guests

Still need to:

order invites
figure out gifts for party
pick out programs
pick out hair/makeup
shoes/accessories
veil/headpiece
finalize things

i'm onto flowers now - following up with a place on friday so hopefully that will be booked soon.

BM dress is just about decided on, just have to figure a few costing things out.

we're working on rehearsal dinner sites - almost there...

Invitations - NO CLUE!

Hair/Makeup - Umm, not sure

Gifts for BP's are just about set! (this is the only thing i've been on top of way early)

Favors - no clue here - maybe CD's or donation, or crystal ornaments - we'll see!

Rings - too early, we'll do it in May/June probably

*flowers and bm dresses are the two key issues at hand right now.

The only thing I would say is that as for makeup/hair if you are planning on using vendors on this site it would be best to start looking now b/c alot of them are booked when I looked in Jan/Feb or didn't have trials for at least 3 weeks. Anyway this is what I have left to do:

1. Tuxes
2. Calligraphy
3. BM/GM Gifts (we know what we are getting GM just have to go out & buy them)
4. Favors
5. Tiara, shoes, undergarments
6. programs/menus
7. Unity candle
8. placecards
9. FG dress
10. wedding bands
11. & all the little things that are too long to list

plus all the tastings, & meetings we have to go to finalize everything.
