Two of my three girls are OOT. I told them all I need their measurements no later than February 1.

We lucked out and found ones at Jessica McClintock that I loved last month. They aall have their dresses already.
But I dont! haha

I am getting married in Oct '06 and my vendor is saying no later than the 1st week of Jan to get them ordered. 2 out of my 5 girls have gotten thier acts together and done it!!!!

We're going to look at dresses tonight! Hopefully this is going to look good on them, and I can get 3 measured today (especially since one lives in NM - my MOH of all people! - and the other is a college student home for the Holidays), my other friend measured next week or two, and my FSIL measured when she comes down for New Years! Then we'll order!!!

All the books say 6 - 9 months prior to the wedding

I was planning on Jan..... we picked them out, but everyone needs to be fitted and ordered still..

I don't know if this helps at all, but we got married the end of October and the girls ordered their dresses in April. We rec'd them in plenty of time for alterations, etc. HTH.

Ordered them in November because that is the only time I knew everyone would be able to get together.

we went looking early september & i picked out a dress. i've been asking my bm's since then to get me their measurements. thank goodness i started so long ago b/c i've still yet to get all their info. anyhow, i'm going to order january 3.
