The weekend of the wedding, we're going to Newport, RI for a few days to escape. Then, in March, we're going to the Sandals resort in the Bahamas for a week. We didn't want to travel to the Caribbean during hurricane season.

That's what we're afraid of...

We're going to Hawaii.
You should be ok in the Caribbean in November, even though the season isn't over until 12/1 technically but, it's tough to take that chance.
Aruba is out of the hurricane belt.

Ask a travel agent for where is best to travel and when if you are thinking the caribbean. Although Nov is pretty safe - I've been told by numerous people that northern caribbean islands hold the same temperature as Florida, so the water won't be that warm to swim in and I would need a light sweater at night. Personally, when I think of a honeymoon in the Caribbean, I think bakini's, tans, and sun! This is why we chose March when we started to look at January first.

I only know this is true for the Bahamas - it could be different elsewhere in the Caribbean as you get closer to the equator.

We're probably going to southern Italy, where the temperature should be at the most, 70 degrees.

We did Sonoma and San Fran on our way home from Hawaii--awesome time!! We had been to Sonoma before (and we wanted to go back) ; you're going to have a great time!! Be sure to visit Landmark winery in Sonoma, get a glass of wine and play bocce on their gorgeous outdoor court!!

Bora Bora & Moorea. The humpback whales migrate through there in the fall.
