Are you all doing fall colors? I do like shades of red but the colors I really wanted to use were bright pink, black, and either white or silver...is it bad to not use the colors of the season? I don't want to clash with the hall decor I guess but if I like a certain color is it really that bad?

I sAy go with whatever you want to go with....doesnt have to match the season!! I'm getting married in September and am doing hot pink and black!!!

It drives me NUTS that everyone assumes because I'm having a fall wedding that I am using 'Fall Colors'. While I have no problem with them, I think it is a personal preference, and mine is browns,hot pinks, light pinks and champagnes. EVERYONE always goes- oh....that's different. Why not use fall colors though? It'll be sooo great for October.

I wanna be like, 'Listen, if I wanted fall colors, I would have asked for fall colors! I want browns,hot pinks, light pinks and champagnes!'- I haven't snapped yet and had a Bridezilla moment though about it. Just mentally....

I think you should use whatever colors you want!! If you want pink in October do it...I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It will look beautiful!

I love fall colors but I also LOVE purple.
I'm sorta stuck between a gorgeous fall bouquet and something purple.
I guess the florist is gonna hate me.

A lot of people do their colors by season, but you really can do any colors you want. Someone I know got married in November and she had a baby blue color because it was her favorite. Its your wedding so I say go with the colors you Love!!

I am getting married 2 days before you :) and I knew I wanted and black and red vintage glam wedding, so I purposely picked a fall month to fit the overall mood. I am very picky with colors since I'm working with them all day (I'm a designer and it's my job to make the colors match the overall look and feel)
with that being said, if YOU are happy with having those colors in October then GO FOR IT! :)
