Fall Brides

Fall Brides

I have been dwelling on the photography a bit. My concern is that it will not be light enough out when we get out of the church to take outside shots. I also wanted to try and take some outside shots at the reception hall as well. Right now the church is set for 4pm and we are only doing the ceremony. Then the drive between the church and the hall is roughly 30mins.

Do you think we will be able to do it or am I just out of luck. Also, what is everyone else doing?

Thanks

Re: Fall Brides

I ran into this problem as well.

Sunset is at 5:50pm on my wedding date (11/4/11).

We’re resolving it by doing photos beforehand. Wasn’t too happy about that in the beginning, but I don’t have much of a choice. At my church, ceremony options were 4pm and 5pm and we chose 5pm so as to not have much time between church and the CH (at 7pm). We’re only doing a ceremony so I’m hoping that at 5:30pm when we’re out of church, we can still do some photos outside the church with the BP.

We’re actually taking photos at our RH at 2:00-4:00pm the day of our wedding.

HTH!

My church is actually at 2pm, so we are going right to the park by my church to take some shots and then heading to the hall [which is about 45min without traffic] where hopefully we will still have sunlight and still be able to enjoy our cocktail hour at 6:30pm!

My ceremony is at 3:30 so I was freaking out about this to but what can you do? I'm sure we can take beautiful pics regardless. Who says we need sunshine or nice pics... lol
