We are taking are engagement pictures in the fall and I was just wondering if any of you ladies are also taking pics during that time. We are going to be taking pictures at the Oakdale Arboretum and Im not sure what to wear. I dont want to be dressed up cause we are in the park and i want to keep it casual and while we dont have to match perfectly I would like to keep in the same color palette as my FH. I was thinking jeans,brown top and brown boots. What are you ladies wearing?

I'm also doing fall e-pics, but in a vineyard. Figuring out an outfit has been driving me crazy! I'm either going with jeans, knee high boots and a flowy top or leggings, knee high wedge boots and a sweater dress that's the same color as the boots. I can't decide!

I love the knee boots with leggings or jeans, I would do an open sweater/cardigan with a top under it and wrap a brown belt around it or a chunky statement necklace. And maybe bring a nice light scarf. That way you can change the look up a little without being too drastic by removing and adding different accessories.

I did fall engagement pictures.. we football themed them. We both wore Jets jerseys with jeans.

I am taking fall epix. Haven't picked a location yet. I have been thinking of what to wear also. Prob dark skinny jeans with a pair of boots and nice sweater. Or I was thinking of the sweater dress n leggings route as well. Soon it will be time to shop for FH and I!

I will be taking fall engagement pics too. I plan on wearing a stripped blazer, white tank and skinny jeans. I want to wear a colored necklace to make it pop. I plan on wearing riding boots.

We took so long deciding on a photographer that we HAVE to take Fall engagement pix. I'm not unhappy about that, I actually would have loved a Fall wedding, but we're both teachers, so schedules kinda dictated Summer.
However, I'm having trouble scheduling with our photographer, have NO idea what to wear, and am REALLY concerned about the weather. I have a condition that leaves me with very poor circulation in my fingers and toes, so if it's chilly and even the slightest bit damp, I'll either need to take the pictures in a big bulky jacket and gloves (kinda hard to show off the ring) or I'm going to be very uncomfortable all day and I'm afraid that will show in the pix.
SO frustrated!! At least you ladies are giving me some wardrobe ideas...

I wore a white dress with brown boots and FH wore a navy blue dress shirt with kakhi pants... pics are in album titled 'north island engagement shoot'
