falling apart

It's 7 days before wedding and i'm starting to fall apart. There has been major problems with my dress! It's in the process of being fixed but they are reconstructing it lol so I won't be able to see the final product till Friday and I'm getting married Monday so I know I have to have faith that it will turn out beautiful its just hard when you can't see it.

Also because I'm getting married on Memorial Day, like everyone EXECPT the photographer has forgotten because of the holiday. EVEN the priest forgot. He send me an email saying he forgot and that we need to come in immediately to go over readings and what not. AHAH i'm starting to fall apart!!! And the florist forgot to send the final contact because he said I forgot it was this weekend!!! GRRRR! I'm sorry for venting ladies I just feel overwhelmed and upset! I want Monday to go smooth with ZERO complications.

I'm so sorry your going through so many things so close to the wedding!! You will get through it and hopefully everything will be perfect. Just always remember to enjoy your day and don't let anything get to you. You want to remember this day as the happiest time of your life!!

I found those 2 weeks before the wedding to be the most stressful! Sorry that you're vendors are adding to that stress. They should really look at their calendars, but just make sure to give them all a confirmation call. I'm sure everything will work out with your dress and Monday will be amazing!

There's a saying in theater, something along the lines of a crappy dress rehearsal means a quality opening night. So please don't stress! It's better that all of this is happening now, because it means things will run smoothly the day of. Try to stay positive! Everything will be beautiful.

It's true! And anything that goes wrong won't really matter in the end. I have to remind myself of that all the time. :)

Oh man, get on top of these things now. Print up contracts for the day of or bring them with you if there weren't any changes. Make sure you confirm your cake and everything else.... Maybe search the boards for a pre-wedding checklist. The day flies by so no matter what, just make the most of it! Weather is supposed to be great!

This is totally true!! I also believe your vendors will feel guilty for forgetting and will be extra diligent on the day of.

Feel better!!

I'm sure everything will work out, but sorry you're having such a hard time!
As far as all your vendors forgetting, I have to say, that's a little crazy! I mean, holiday or not, they should know that they have a wedding that day!
Good luck!!
