we had to put her down today.... she was 16 very old and I feel so bad but I know she is better off and not suffering.

thanks Kim I know you have that special love for dogs too.
It is truley depressing and makes me wonder why just why did I get a puppy I will one day have to go through this!!?
I know that she will have a long awsome life it just makes me never want to go through this again.
We lost our other family dog (son of the one we lost today) in august a day after my bday actually that was worse for all of us because he was the first and the one that was more playful and loving!!

so sorry about ur puppy. FHs dog was put to sleep this past january and FH is an only child so his dog was like his sibling. Its never easy but the pain eventually dulls. Now just think that you have an angel up in heaven
