What size family name plaque did you get? I don't want something too small or too overpowering. I will most likely display it at the cake table.
FYI My FH's last name has six letters.

We did the 18x6 and FHs last name is 8 letters. I should be getting it within the next couple weeks and I'll post pictures then!

I did 24x7, my DH's last name is 7 letters. I got a quote at the top and our wedding date on the bottom.

I also did this and FH last name is 7 letters. I want to hang it in our home after the wedding so we put his name first.

If you email them, they are so nice. I was emailed about 7 or 8 proofs until I found just the right combo of colors and fonts. I also asked what size would best fit what I wanted since I had something at the top and bottom of our last name.
VERY helpful as I think many of the girls on here would agree.

This was my size as well. I think we all used My-sweet-memories.com. She is great to work with and will show you lots of proofs. I've ordered plaques not only for our wedding but as baby gifts, grandparent gifts

Which company/vendor did you use? I like that they emailed you a few proofs to pick from. If it was left to me, I'd be pulling my hair.

I used my-sweet-memories.com and she sent about 10 proofs. I emailed her and once I liked a proof, I purchased it on etsy. She was so easy to work with and emailed proofs promptly. I do recommend looking at her samples for what you want and request one or two proofs. After that, make changes based on color/fonts. I haven't received mine yet, it should be arriving next week.
