My fiance and i are having a valentines wedding and we are looking to name the tables after famous characters..preferably fictional like Ross and Rachel, Ralph and Alice etc...
I LOVE the idea but JMO- i would stay with more classic couples that all ages would know....I mean...my grandparents and older guests wouldnt know who Ross and Rachel are. But this really is a wonderful idea! Good luck!

I think its a great idea but I think I would focus on using fictional/non-fictional characters who had long stable relationships

Cute idea, but like the PP said, go with couples that have strong, consistent relationships. To me, this rules out characters like Ross and Rachel from 'Friends,' Carrie and Mr. Big from 'Sex and the City,' and Meredith and Derek from 'Grey's Anatomy.' Yeah, they ended up together by the ends of their respective series in the cases of 'Friends' and 'Sex and the City,' but the back and forth was so freaking tiresome and quite honestly, the mark of bad relationships.

I love Fred and Wilma! Maybe you can do all cartoon characters like the Smurfs, or that skunk from Looney Toons who's always in love.
