A good friend of mine wants to take this girl he's been seeing to a realy nice fancy italian restaurant. and i mean shirt and tie for him and a dress for her.
anyone know of any. i love italian food, but I've never been to a fancy restaurant. think i'd fall on the floor if my FI surprised me with that.
any suggestions would be awesome, thank u
oh and he lives in levittown, but i don't think it will matter where he goes.

piccolo venita (sp?) in astoria.. FH took me there for our dating anniv. it was the best (and fanciest) Italian restaurant I have ever been to.

Il Classico in Massapequa. It is on Merrick Road. IT is nice and the food is great...but it is DEF $$$

I am probably spelling wrong...il molino??? in roslyn...very $$$ fabulous food..the orig. is in NYC..but you need reservations.....

I hear that Scalettas in the city is really good...not sure how to spell it...that would have to be researched.....it's very pricey and very elegant...definitely somewhere to get dressed up. The kids I babysit for go there with their ritzy grandparents and the eldest girl always tells me how fancy it is and how expensive....but she says the food is so well worth it. Maybe worth a shot
