Fantasia Bridal

I had my final fitting last night and was a little surprised at the cost of my alterations! (This is putting it mildly). My alterations are capped at $200 but it turns out that doesn't include bustle points or cups. I found out last night that I had 13 bustle points put in!!!! UGH!
They are ten dollars each. Cups are an additional $20 bringing this to $150 in additional to $200 in alterations. I have purchased my gown, slip, shoes and veil at Fantasia, along with my BM dresses. I was very annoyed last night to find out that the alterations were that expensive. When I questioned the charge they said it wasn't their fault I picked a dress that need so many bustle points.
In the end, the dress cost exactly as much as my slip, veil and alterations put together.
Just a word of caution - beware of additional costs!!!

eeekkk. I am so sorry that happened to you. They should have gone over that with you when you ordered your dress. I also got my dress at Fantasia. When I placed my order for the dress, Marie went over everything with me. She explained that the alterations were capped at 200, that the bustle was extra and my dress would need 3-5, and she explained about the slip being extra as well. I would have been upset too if they hadn't told me ahead of time.

I got my dress at Fantasia also, I was told up front how much everything would cost me. I also got my Tiara, Veil, Bms dresses and Slip from them. I have had no problems with the Ladies there.

I got my dress at Fantasia also ~ I was also told up front the $200.00 cap but they did tell me the bustle ect was not included in the cap... that stinks that you were not informed ~ Sorry sweetie!

They did informed me about the bustle, and my slip didn't cost me $200 it was a lot less then that.
