I know and my FH joined 4 fantasy teams, on top of the fact that he has 4-5 baseball fantasy teams.

and ive said on here many times, on top of doing fantasy teams, he also plays sports for leagues. I think he likes the number 4 bc he was on 4 softball teams, before me he used to do 6 leagues but cut down bc of me lol so i guess i should be happy about that. The week before were championships, then labor day weekend he was in oceancity maryland playing in a tournament, he came back monday and this week he already started softball snowflake leagues and it runs until the middle of november, but im glad bc no weekend games so WOO HOO we can finally stay out late saturday nights lol. And he plays football every year too, he said he wont this year but he said the same last year and he ended up playing.

My best friends husband plays softball religiously and just had a tournament somewhere in like Missouri or something. Last year was Wisconsin!!

Do you girls not like football??!!?!?!

Last year, I decided to help with the fantasy football, so, he will go over the picks with me, and, I'll sometimes make some picks, too. Then, we'll watch the games together!

That way, we're both happy!!!

I guess you have to like football for that.

I like sports, mostly a baseball fan which I LOOOVE. I even love going with FH to games and watching him play. Thats not the problem...but When all day sunday's in the summer is 2 games in the mornings, then 2 at night and all were in suffolk county when we live in queens that takes up the whole day. So we wouldn't get to do alot of things on sundays except when i would go to his night games. And i also haven't seen him that much since last week lol. He had championships whole week before labor day weekend and left for maryland to play softball early friday morning, we only saw eachother wednesday of that whole week before he left. Then he came back saw him that day and then hes had snowflake this week, and i FINALLY get to see him today but i have plans and wont see him until late lol. I mean it was playoffs so i know to expect this at this time. Plus hes currently in close to 10 fantasy teams considering baseball is still going on so combining the two its alot, and they also cost money lol

LMAO!! WOW!!! FH is playing in a softball tourney this weekend, I should have invited your FH to play!!!

He's like 3 players short.... and I almost posted it here, but, nobody is going to come to Philly for a charity softball tourney!!!

Uhmmm Fh would go if we didn't have a wedding to go to sunday, and im not even kidding, he has a house in PA so it would be easy for him...See thats the thing, he plays for about 4 teams but theres always other teams calling him if they are short and need extra players and he does it bc he just loves playing. I know to get used to this bc his dad played on softball leagues until he was 55 years old and they even won championships together.

I wish that when he played in college he didnt quit bc when you start as a freshman you kinda have to pay your dues and not be first string but at that age its like UGh im not dealing with this but its the way it goes...Even for HS he went to one of the best HS baseball teams, and had to try out and they have TONS who try every year and only pick like 20-30 kids if that and he did, he also walked off the field when a scout came to see him, he gets tooooooo into the game and he is a different person on the field, i think ppl who only see us at games feel sorry for me and think hes crazy but off the field hes not like that...I just feel bad bc i know that was his dream

yeah it s*cks bc the time to really do something about it is when they're young and foolish. I tell him to still try no but he says theres no chance now. But i always tell him about john franco who started in his 30's and he worked for the dept of sanitation before that.

it doesn't help that his dad played in the minor leagues for the pirates or something like that and was already supposed to play in the major leagues right after that until he broke his leg. So he always thinks how his dad did get there but unfortunately had bad luck.

So i know my life will be dedicated to making my boys into major league players
