I am doing a farewell table instead of favors. Does anyone have creative ideas for letting my guests know that is their favor? I thought about adding it as a note at the bottom of the menu, but am looking for other suggestions.

Farewell table
LOL I'm getting married at the Royalton and my farewell table is going to be my favors as well!! I think I'm going to get bags that say thank you on them and put them in a basket next to sign that say something like 'thank you for sharing this day with you'. By the sound of what the Royalton gives us for the farewell table I'm sure your guests will know that is their favor!

Farewell table
It’s when the guest are leaving there is a table set up in foyer of our RH. It has freshly baked goods, soft pretzels, old-fashioned candy, little bottles of champagne and OJ and I’m sure I’m missing other stuff that is on it!

Thanks GoingToBoyle! A sign might work if I can figure out how to make it. Nice to see another Royalton bride on here.

That sounds great. Can a viennesse table be considered a farewell table? lol

Re: Farewell table
We had favors but we also had a farewell table as well.
All of our guests received bottles of water (with custom labels with our names/wedding date), hot pretzels, italian ices and a newspaper when they left.

Re: Farewell table
Our RH suggested we buy pastry boxes online or at Costco and have guests fill up their boxes with the Viennese items to take home as their favor. We are also going to get a sticker to close the box that has our monogram and date--Vienesse doubling as favor--love it!

So cute! My cousin had a farewell table and it was a candy bar.

That sounds like such a great idea! I was thinking of a candy table too, since we are not having a Viennese Hour

I love italian ices, that's great!! I was thinking of the newspaper, how did you do that?

Honestly, we just gave our hall money for the amount of papers we wanted and they handled it. I think they start putting newspapers out (for the next day) at 11pm. You could also call and request a large delivery from the Daily News, etc and arrange it directly too.
