Does anyone have one? IF so are they reliable? For some reason, I am sitting here freaking out that there is going to be a hurricane or something on my wedding day....I think I might have to go out and purchase one...(or just go to the bookstore to look up my date.) Anyway...anyone???

Re: Farmers Almanac
I purchased one and every week i check it and it looks like its pretty darn accurate...i actually use it to decide which wedding date we should choose..Originally we wanted to get married on Sep 30th but the almanac says its going to have hurricane that week so we change it...I still keep my finger cross and hope its really accurate.
I left my book at work, but tomorrow I will check your date and will FM you.

Re: Farmers Almanac
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking...I'm getting married the day after you and the cermeony and CH are outside! I read the almanac awhile ago and said to myself... hmmmm, the beginning of Aug will be full of hurricanes, thunderstorms, and heat! I hope the almanac is wrong and there's will be calm 70 degree weather. My neighbor told me not to worry b/c rain is a sign of good luck. My photographer told me not to worry b/c every wedding he has done, it has been sunny! Everyone told me not to worry b/c the wedding can be held inside...but do I still worry? Of course I do!
Here's hoping to wrong forecasts!

Does anyone know a past bride who booked their date according to the farmers almanac? And if so, was it accurate?

Re: Farmers Almanac
i used this to plan a party around last year and it wasn't even close! But I watched it before and after and it was right on most of the time.. i took it out from the library. but i saw cvs sells it and stores like that i would run in and just look it up, no point in buying
