I am terrible with matching clothes.. trying to be fashionable. I will buy things in fashion and have no idea how to wear them..
anyway...
This is my issue. When it starts getting warm like days like today, i love to wear my Jean jacket. Problem is I want to wear a jean jacket with Jeans but i never do... i feel too 80's, I feel like it looks funny.. esp if the jean hjacket and the jeans are simialr in color.
so you fashion savy girls.. is it okay to wear a jean jacket with jeans ?

Hmmm well i do with certain jeans...I have one denim jacket that goes well with a certain pair, otherwise i dont wear it with other jeans. Its also a dark denim so looks different when its together rather than light denim.

I have a pair of jeans that is an exact match to my jean jacket and in that case it looks ok but if the denim colors are completely different it looks a little funny. I think denim jackets look better with khakis or capris (not jean capris)

I agree I love wearing my jean jacket with my black dress pants or capris. So at least I can wear my jean jacket to work

yeah exactly, the denim jacket i have actually goes with the jeans...otherwise if its off even just a little i dont wear it...but i mostly wear my denim jacket with other type of pants

Well what color is your jean jacket? Dark, med blue or light blue? I used to have this denim jacket (Earl Grey) I swear I wore this jacket every single day and I wore it with everything, It was fitted and had a vintage look to it. The best color to wear it with is beige pants, black or dark. I wouldn't wear jean with jean, that would look tacky, unless the jeans have a worn out look and they are not the exact shaded of jean. Best bet is gray/black/beige/white pants

i always wore my jean jacket with matching color jean pants. i probably do look cheesy, but its comfy and looks good to me!

yes it's a big no, you can wear your jean jacket with any other pants other than jeans, even if it's the same type of jeans.

I only wear Jean jackets if I am wearing no other Denim, I try to wear it as a layering piece that I take off. It is rare that I do wear them
