Fat Fiancees

I am watching the Discovery Times Channel on channel 113 ( on my cable)

Ok over in Africa they see full figured women as a sign of wealth. They have to drink milk and butter in order to gain weight.

Then they give the brides family cattle as a dowry!

How would u feel if that made u fat and then traded u for some cattle.

My momma is talking about she is gonna get 4 cows for me!

I think I've semi heard of this, something like in hawaii a heavier woman meant wealth because it meant her family was able to feed her well so that was what a man looked for when he was looking to marry. I took hawaiian in college, aloha kakakiaka!

lol no it means good morning! That's all I remember, and a few other random works, but I used to know a lot of hawaiian! It was fun I learned how to hula dance too! I will do a karate kick for you and say aloha kakakiaka if you want though.

Lawd bless em! They have to be over 200 pounds or so and they have to be contiuously fattened up to 3 months after the weddin!

I guess I would be a crackhead + I'm short! Lawd never would get married!!!

How about I owe my IL's some money for their son! Cause he sure is JUICY!!!

yeah thats the deal in so many cultures

even when my mom was little in sicily - they told her she was too skinny to get married ( she weighed 100 lbs when she got married to my dad) and it was embarassing to the family bc it seemed like they were poor and worked in the fields

of course this was 40 years ago

i wish it was still like that LOL!
